Mr. Bailey holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The Citadel. He has practiced structural engineering since 1982, gaining experience with structural steel, pre-engineered metal buildings, precast and cast-in-place concrete, reinforced masonry, wood and manufactured timber building systems. As the company president, Mr. Bailey is responsible for professional service agreements and new project opportunities as well as value engineering structural components and systems. Mr. Bailey has experience with all types of new facilities as well as additions to and renovations of existing structures in commercial and industrial markets. Mr. Bailey is a registered professional engineer in seventeen states, and holds memberships to many professional societies.
Mr. Gurley has a Bachelor of Science from The Citadel and Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Clemson University. His experience includes industrial, institutional, commercial, and educatinal projects. Mr. Gurley has successfully completed the general contractor's witten examinatio, and is responsible for project management, analysis and design of structural systems.
Mr. Shull has a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He has a decade of structural design experience and is registered as a professional engineer in the state of South Carolina. Mr. Shull is knowledgeable about the design of chemical and industrial facilities, schools, churches, public facilities, bridge superstructures and bridge substructures. His field experience includes inspecting and analyzing various structural materials, designing and supervising project construction, and coordinating engineering reports, studies, calculations and shop drawings.
Mr. Sprouse has a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from Clemson University. He has been with Bailey and Son Engineering since 1998. Mr. Sprouse is knowledgeable of industrial, institutional, and chemical projects. His experience in engineering design includes structural steel, reinforced concrete, reinforced masonry, and deep foundation systems. Mr. Sprouse serves as the computer systems administrator.
Mr. Schneider has over thirty years experience in project design management. He has experience teaching courses in construction materials and methods used in residential and commercial construction, as well as environmental systems. He has consulting / design experience in heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning and "clean" specialty environments. Mr. Schneider proveides investigative engineering services for Bailey and Son Engineering, where he must determine cause and origin, construction failure analysis, and lightning strike damage among other forensic analyses. Mr. Schneider is a licensed professional engineer in five states, a member of several professional societies, and the author of a number of technical publications.
